Homologation of Divorce Decree
  1. Divorce Decree: Authenticated copy of the foreign divorce decree, legalized or apostilled.

  2. Marriage Certificate: Original and updated marriage certificate of the applicant.

  3. Criminal Record Certificate: Criminal record certificate of the applicant (issued in the country of origin and translated, if necessary).

  4. Proof of Identity: Valid passport or ID document.

  5. Birth Certificate: Birth certificate of the applicant and the ex-spouse, translated if necessary.

  7. Homologation of Nationality Recognition Decree

Important Observations

  1. Legalization/Apostille: All documents issued abroad must be legalized or apostilled according to the Hague Convention to guarantee their authenticity and acceptance by Portuguese authorities.

  2. Sworn Translation: Foreign documents must be translated into Portuguese by a sworn translator if they are not in Portuguese.
