Documents Required to Obtain Portuguese Nationality by Birth in Portuguese Territory
Birth Certificate of the Applicant
Issued by a Civil Registry Office in Portugal.
Must indicate the place and date of birth.

If the parents are foreign, the certificates must be legalized/apostilled and translated into Portuguese, if necessary.
Proof of Legal Residence of the Parents
